Nuova Simplast and Eni Plenitude: taking a step forward in energy sustainability
We’re pleased to share that on July 10, 2025, at the Fontanafredda winery in Fontanafredda (CN), Nuova Simplast and Eni Plenitude officially presented their new Energy Community (CER) project to the press and national authorities.
The initiative involves installing a 758 kWp photovoltaic system in an AID (Remote Individual Self-Consumer) setup, located on company-owned land. The renewable energy produced will be shared across the company’s facilities in the industrial zone – a step toward more sustainable and responsible energy use.
Renewable Energy Communities (CERs) offer an innovative way to generate and share clean energy. They allow members to produce renewable power, use it locally, and manage it efficiently – helping to cut CO2 emissions and reduce energy costs.
We are proud to move forward with this project alongside a strategic partner like Eni Plenitude – a reflection of our continued commitment to the energy transition and a more sustainable future.
