A Year of Sustainability: Wrapping Up the “Avviso Green” Training Program
Throughout 2024, our company took an ambitious step forward with “Avviso Green”, a training initiative that came to a close on February 27, 2025, after nearly a full year of activity.
The program engaged more than 80 employees, with at least 45 completing over 16 hours of training each – and some reaching as many as 100. In total, the initiative delivered 532 hours of advanced, specialist training across 19 dedicated modules.
Focus Areas
The project set out to demonstrate how a company in the plastic molding sector can make a real contribution to environmental sustainability by rethinking its production model from a circular perspective.
Training was structured around five key focus areas, drawn from the company’s sustainability reporting framework:
- • Waste management
- • Natural resource use
- • Process reconfiguration
- • Sustainable supply chain management
- • Sustainability advocacy and communication
The content was developed in collaboration with both internal trainers and external experts with proven experience in the field.
A Practical Step Toward Circular Thinking
This initiative is part of a broader plan to rethink and redesign business processes, aiming to increase circularity across the entire value chain — from raw material sourcing and design, to production, recovery, and recycling.
In the plastics industry, the issue isn’t the material itself, but how it’s used. Circular models, recycling strategies, and smarter collection and management systems can significantly reduce waste and deliver long-term environmental impact.
Looking Ahead
“Avviso Green” sparked new ideas and led to a fresh look at several internal processes. The company is already working on the next round of training initiatives, focused on growth, innovation, and long-term transformation.
A sincere thank you to all participants, trainers, and team members who helped make this project a success.
Sustainability is an ongoing journey – and we’re proud to have taken this step together.
