Simplast Group: Our Energy Community Project Is Taking Shape
For Simplast Group, sustainability means turning commitments into concrete actions.
Almost one year after the official launch of the project, developed in collaboration with Eni Plenitude, our Energy Community is entering a crucial phase: the 758 kWp photovoltaic plant is now close to becoming operational and will enable the sharing of renewable energy among the company’s sites within the industrial area through an AID (Remote Individual Self-Consumption) configuration.
This represents an important step forward in the Group’s journey towards greater energy efficiency and sustainability, with the aim of reducing the environmental impact of its activities and promoting an increasingly responsible use of energy resources.
For us, this project is much more than a technological investment: it is a choice that reflects our way of doing business, driven by responsibility towards the local community, innovation, and a long-term vision.
A Journey That Began in 2025
The project was officially presented on July 10, 2025, at Fontanafredda Winery in Serralunga d’Alba, in the presence of the press and local authorities, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership between Simplast Group and Eni Plenitude.
